We have developed this website using best endeavours to ensure that it is usable by everybody, regardless of age or disability.

Measures to support accessibility

Quba takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.
  • Integrate accessibility into our business practices.
  • Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.
  • Partner with companies that provide accessibility tools and audits.
  • Be ambassadors for accessibility.
  • Promote accessible best practice via social channels.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance:

  • Level A
  • Level AA
  • Level AAA

Quba is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Our aim is to continually improve our accessibility and to become fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA.

Using our site

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website.

This means that you can:

  • Change contrast levels
  • Modify the font, colours, line height or spacing of text
  • Zoom in up to 200% without text spilling off the screen
  • The text will reflow in a single column when you change the size of your browser window
  • Navigate the website using just a keyboard
  • Translate the website into a different language
  • Listen to the website using a screen reader

We also provide assistive technology (via Recite Me), enabling all website visitors to customise their experience through a range of options to suit their online accessibility and language needs.

Known limitations

Whilst we try to maintain a high standard of accessibility on our website, there are some known limitations.

These are documented below.

  • Some videos may not have captions
  • We do not provide audio descriptions for videos.

We are actively working to amend and update any areas of the website that are not fully accessible.
