World Cup Wine tasting a Grape Success!

Forty people from businesses based in South Yorkshire met for a wine tasting event at the Sheffield offices of an award winning digital agency.
The event held by Quba on Rockingham Street was hosted by South African winemaker Pieter Ferreira of Graham Beck wines with all guests invited to take part in a quiz and spot the ball competition to win prizes.
Darren Bristow Director at Quba said: “It was a marvellous evening with everyone really getting into the spirit of the occasion. At Quba we always enjoy having fun with our customers and contacts so it was great to see so many people and catch up.
It is easy to lose the personal interaction with people that you work with but events such as this help us build on our relationships and work more effectively on projects and issues together.
I’d like to thank everyone who came along-and of course Pieter who grew all the wine and even bought it here for us to try.”
Guests were treated to eight different bottles of red, white and sparkling wine with Mr Ferreira talking them through each glass. A broad spectrum of Sheffield businesses were in attendance with representatives from the universities, local law firms, marketing agencies and members of the press in attendance.
Among the prize winners at the event were Julia Gash from ‘Bag It Don’t Bin It’, Nathan Bilton of Wake Smith and Tofield and Philip Howden from IT support specialists Birchenall Howden.
