Dramatic final moments of the Quba pool tournament on film

Friday 27^th of November saw the finals evening for the bi-monthly Quba pool tournament. With three highly competitive leagues being played over the 2 month period the final games were played out with the results as follows:

Premier League – Darren Bristow took 1^st place whilst 2^nd place went to Rob Wilmot. Matthew Williams and Ben Franklin were both relegated from the premiership to join the championship league.

Championship League – Mick Harper-Jones took 1^st place closely followed by Matt Jones who took 2^nd, both will be promoted to the premiership league next season. Rachel Williams and Owen Lakin were both relegated to League 1.

League 1 – Charlie Hill stole 1^st place, with Anna John coming 2^nd, both to be promoted to the Championship next season. Jessica Penny fought off Dave Sealey to win the Quba Bottom Award Season 2 Winner (and yes, the award was actually a bottom)

After a quick break for Pizza and Beer the action continued with The Cup knock out tournament with the semis and final to be completed on the evening. The younger players, Charlie Hill and Owen Lakin, were no match in the end for the combined experience of Quba Directors Matt Jones and Rob Wilmot who met in the final playing for the coveted title of ‘Quban top Que’.

In the end it all came down to a black ball game with Matt Jones only needing to safely put the black away following a foul shot from Rob.
