infoUK site wins ‘Highly Commended’ award at B2B Marketing Awards!

infoUK.com built by Sheffield web design agency Quba has won the ‘Highly Commended award for ‘The best product launch campaign’.

This year’s B2B Marketing Awards saw its greatest number of entries to date.  Peter Young, Marketing Consultant and Chairman of the judging panel described the successful entries as “smart campaigns produced by smart thinkers.”  He criticised entries that “failed to show a willingness to adapt in the current business as uninspiring and conservatively dressed.” 

Of the winning entries he stated, “They have managed to crystallise the no-doubt complex marketing solutions in a digestible and lucid way.  Given the multilayered complexity of working within the B2B domain, this in itself can be a challenge.”

infoUK.com provide clients with information and services that help them identify new customers and increase their sales.  The website allows clients to target new customers based on specific requirements.

The new and innovative search system means visitors can combine multiple search criteria to identify potential business leads.  The system uses real-time count totals so the amount of available records is always visible to the user.    

In addition to offline marketing in trade journals such as Precision Marketing, Marketing Direct and B2B Marketing, an online campaign was also implemented using PR, SEO and social networking to further boost awareness of the site.

The site achieved 4921 visits when it launched in November 2008 and by the following March this had reached more than 7000 visits a month.  infoUK have stated that the initial launch figure was 500 per cent over the original target.
