Stuart Maconie website promotes Visit Northwest

Stuarts Stories Online…

Quba is proud to announce the launch of the Stuarts Stories website. The site promotes a new, free book of short stories about the Hidden Gems in England’s Northwest.

The book has been written by Radio 2’s Stuart Maconie, who, having spent his childhood in Lancashire has written a number of books based in the Northwest region. The website includes seven of Maconie’s short stories discussing topics from the Beatles to Beatrix Potter as well as mentioning places of interest and recommended eateries to visit throughout the region.

A copy of the stories is available on the Stuarts Stories site in a range of different formats, they can be read online or download as PDF files.  There are podcasts of the stories and for those wishing to visit the places discussed, maps of the areas mentioned with the authors recommendations highlighted. There is also an image gallery where photographs of the places visited can be viewed.

Keep an eye on the site in March when another eight stories will be added, this time focusing on the Northwest countryside. To see the site and to sign up for a free copy of the book, please visit www.stuartsstories.co.uk
